Our Adopted Pets

Cats & Canines, Inc. (C&C) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit animal rescue dedicated to helping homeless, abused and abandoned cats and dogs.  We are committed to providing proper socialization, training and medical care for every cat and dog we save.

We do not specialize in any breed or type of cats and dogs. We reach out to and help all types, regardless of age, breed or medical/behavioral needs. We are committed to transparency with our adopters, fosters and volunteers so that once a dog or cat is in our care, they will know only love and security going forward.

As much as we want to, we know that we cannot possibly save every single animal in need, which is why we believe that animal welfare needs to be a community effort. We advocate for important issues such as spay/neuter and proper care & treatment of animals, and promote awareness of the consequences of pet overpopulation, a problem that is currently crippling animal shelters nationwide and especially in Southern California.

Adopt In Pairs
Archie & Bubbles are brother & sister, 11 months young. They were rescued along w their sister’s Buttercup & Blossom when they were very young kittens in a poor neighborhood. Their mom was eventually trapped, vet checked, spayed, released to the same property where they have a regular feeding station for the cats living outside. These kitties have been lovingly fostered, they’re healthy, love to play ALOT, are altered, vaccinated, snap tested-negative. It took weeks to get these guys to safety and now that they’re ready to go we’d love for them to be adopted together. They’ve been through a lot and it would bring you years of entertainment to have them as your family members. We would love you forever if you’ll complete an application!  We show our cats @ Pet Food Express, on S Lake Ave Pasadena on most Saturday’s. Contact us about a meet n’greet with the kitties.

Gorgeous Chappie is a 5 years-young black x white tuxedo boy with the most beautiful long coat. Friendly, calm and easygoing, Chappie was rescued from an overcrowded and bankrupt shelter and is ready for his forever home.  He is neutered, fully up-to-date on vaccines and has tested positive for FIV. He is the picture of health, and expected to have an average cat lifespan! Please consider opening your heart and your home to Chappie. He can't wait to repay the love and affection!
